It is grown in subtropical regions as an ornamental plant for its flowers that are heavily perfumed at night so it is called (The lady of the night). The shrub has a long bloom period, repeatedly flowering through the summer.
It grows moderately fast up to 8-10 ft. It needs full sun to part shade, in organic ,fertile, well drained soils. You can plant it as a border, hedge, screen, or in containers. Place near an entryway and patio. or other location where the fragrant flowers can be easily enjoyed. Landscapers depend on this plant in gardens due to the fragrant scent that the plant produces. So It is considered an ideal choice in private gardens.
