It is a showy green ornamental grass that is native to open, scrubby habitats in East Africa, tropical Africa, the Middle East and south-western Asia.
Fountain grass grows up to 3-5 ft .tall (90-150cm) and 2-4 ft wide(60-120cm).
It is welcomed in any garden style,it is a focal point .It can be used as a specimen plant, it is good at borders ,where it provides textures ,color and it is effecient for softening driveways or courtyards.
It needs full sun, well drained soils. Landscapers depend on it in landscape projects specially in Egypt .
