Fix Ficus lyrata is an ornamental tree awarded the Order of Merit by the British Royal Horticultural Society, a popular ornamental tree that highlights the breathtaking appearance of subtropical and tropical gardens. Like many other Vicks trees, Vicks Ficus lyrata begins its normal life by growing on top of the crown of another tree, then sends its roots to the ground where the host tree trunk is located and slowly strangles it until it grows in its place.
