Cyperus Papyrus (Papyrus)

Undoubtedly when you hear the word Papyrus Egyptians come to mind.

Egyptians used the plant for many purposes, including for making papyrus paper and In the Nile Delta, Papyrus was widely cultivated in ancient times. It was used in medicine in Ancient Egypt.

Its importance was not limited to ancient Egypt only, as it is these days one of the most famous ornamental plant in the Middle East. Papyrus plants work well as the focal point in an arrangement of various aquatic plants with shorter plants surrounding them. So the plant is called architectural plant.

It is the ideal solution for landscape designers in water gardens or as a houseplant grown.

Papyrus plants don’t require very much maintenance. These plants prefer full sun but will tolerate part shade, this plants needs lots of moisture and don’t require feeding.
