Rosmary is a beautiful evergreen shrub with strongly aromatic, needle-like leaves ,about 1 in (2.5 cm).
It is considered a Mediterranean plant ,which characterized by its blue flowers that appear in winter and spring .
It is one of the most important medicinal and aromatic plants throughout the ages that is used in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics .
Its role is not limited only to that , but it is considered one of the plants and herbs used in the kitchen , as it is added to dishes to give a good taste .No home is without it ,and our mothers cannot live without it.
People considered this plant to be an important plant for producing oils used in aromatherapy.
People used to grow it at home by themselves due to its ease of cultivation, rapid growth ,and simple uncomplicated environmental needs ,including direct sunlight ,poor to moderately fertile sandy soil ,does not require excessive fertilization ,and is not very water-loving.
The Rosmary plant is multi-use, as people also used it in landscape as a ground cover and a plant that has a beautiful appearance and a strongly aromatic that attracts people to sit next to it.
It is used by many landscape designers as it is the ideal solution to customer requirements in terms of aesthetic appearance ,nutritional value.
