Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme)

Thyme is one of the most popular herbs It’s a striking plant with purple flowers.

 A generally upright, woody-based perennial which is primarily grown as a culinary herb in( herb gardens). Leaves are highly aromatic (reaching their peak just before plants flower).

This popular herb grows in Europe, especially the Mediterranean.
